What is a solidarity co-op?
A "solidarity coop" is a type of cooperative where multiple stakeholder groups, including workers, users (customers), and community supporters, actively participate in decision-making and ownership of the business, with a primary focus on social and environmental goals alongside economic viability.
Essentially, it's a cooperative built on the principle of shared responsibility and solidarity among diverse members.

The mission of the Hive Cafe Co-op is to be a model food system at Concordia University that provides food through sustainable practices and empowers the student community.
